Here are my top 10 tips on food you can snack on while maintaining a healthy diet. These tips are from my research, and looking at the ingredients of the snacks, as they have less sugar (or natural sugars), can eaten in small quantities, and have health benefits, such as oats, avacado, chick peas (in hommus) etc.
- oatmeal biscuits with honey
- nuts and dried fruit
- a banana
- cranberry almond biscuits
- rice cakes with avocado
- two squares dark chocolate
- yoghurt with granola or muesli with dark chocolate chips
- hommus and pita bread
- glass of oatmilk (to avoid having too much dairy)
- slice of wholemeal bread with peanut butter
